Kudos to American Pride Automotive for your desire to better your community with your donation of your time and talent helping those in need servicing 20 Lackey Clinic patient’s cars at no charge to them this past Saturday. Partnership with 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union and Colony Insurance Group enables them to perform routine maintenance and replace parts required to ensure the safety of drivers. Their efforts will not soon be forgotten ensuring entertainment for children with a craft table and breakfast, lunch and drinks provided by York Assembly of God Church. THANK YOU ALL!!!

Erica Comber of Comber Physical Therapy supports the Lackey Free Clinic and brings a donation to Kelly Cash, Community Outreach Director for the Lackey Free Clinic. The Lackey Free Clinic has provided skilled and compassionate healthcare to the uninsured living at or under the federal poverty level in Hampton Roads for 16 years. Monica Cooper recently fundraised to help the Lackey Free Clinic. Future fundraisers are planned with Premier Designs to continue the life changing work of the Clinic.

Ruth Williamson, President of Exchange Club of York presents two checks to Sue Salva from the Lackey Free Clinic in support of their annual campaign.

A $12,000 grant from the Karene O’Hare Ovarian Cancer Memorial Fund was presented by John O’Hare to the Clinic.

Ben & Jerry’s at Riverwalk Landing Yorktown held their annual Free Cone Day to benefit our Clinic as well as the two other local clinics. The one day total of donations was over $2,300!!!!! Thanks Bob, Teresa and all of their wonderful staff.

Free clinic now offers psychiatry online - A screen on Rob Bradley's desk at Lackey Free Clinic turned on and the words "incoming call" appeared.  With the touch of a button, Dr. Avtar Dhillon, a psychiatrist in an office seven miles away, showed up on the screen.  This is telepsychiatry — a way that Colonial Behavioral Health psychiatrists can consult with patients at free and reduced-fee clinics.
